Come & See Nights
6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Chesterton Academy of Akron invites 7th and 8th grade students as well as their parents to a night of joyful learning which includes a school tour, light refreshments, three short, classical-style lessons, and a Q&A with staff and current students. Come learn how classical education is different, how it might benefit your family, and receive information on affordability.

Shadow Days
8:15 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.
The next step in your discernment. Attend classes and experience a day in the life of a Chesterton Student. Parents are welcome to shadow with their children if possible.

Entrance Exams
9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Students must take the Classical Learning Test 8 (CLT8) for admittance. This entrance exam assesses a student’s verbal reasoning skills, grammar, and quantitative reasoning skills (math and logic) and determines high school readiness in those subjects.

Tuition & Financial Aid
Chesterton Academy of Akron is committed to offering an outstanding high school education at an affordable cost to families.
Tuition for 2026-2027 is $11,000.
This includes all tuition and books for the upcoming year.
Because tuition does not cover the full cost of an education at Chesterton, families are expected to aid in fundraising efforts throughout the school year.
Chesterton Academy is committed to fundraising to help bring down the cost of our tuition. We believe that financial hardship should never be a barrier for students to receive a Catholic education. Email fund@akronchesterton.org to learn more about how YOU can apply for financial aid!
